Summary of Benefits

The chart below is only a summary of settlement benefits. Important details regarding the eligibility requirements and the specifics of how and when to request benefits is set forth in the Explanation of Benefits and the Certificate for Expanded Warranty.

CERTIFICATE FOR EXPANDED WARRANTY AND REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
  • Original Purchaser of an In Class Evaporator Coil.

The purpose of the Certificate is to inform recipients that they are Authorized Claimants and to provide them with information concerning the benefits to which they are or may become entitled under this Settlement Agreement and the process by which they may request those benefits.

If you have not had to replace the Original Coil within five years of installation, you will not be eligible for benefits.
$75 REBATE FORM
(FOR FUTURE SERVICES)
  • Original Purchaser of an In Class Evaporator Coil.
  • Had a Replacement of the Original Coil within five years of installation of the Original Coil.
 The $75 Rebate Form is NOT a check for $75. The Service Rebate can be redeemed for one year from the date the $75 Rebate Form is issued. Service must be provided by an independent dealer listed on the Dealer Locator section of this website.
REPLACEMENT COIL WARRANTY
  • Original Purchaser of an In Class Evaporator Coil.
  • Had a Replacement of the Original Coil within five years of installation of the Original Coil.

Covered Replacement Coil must be an uncoated copper tube Replacement Coil.

If the covered Replacement Coil requires replacement, claimant is eligible to receive a coated copper tube or aluminum tube Replacement Coil and reimbursement of up to $550 for labor and refrigerant to install the coated copper tube or aluminum tube Replacement Coil.

Replacement Coil Warranty is in effect until the earlier to occur of (a) the date that is five years after the date the covered Replacement Coil was installed or (b) the date the Claimant receives a coated copper tube or aluminum tube Replacement Coil.
REIMBURSEMENT OF LABOR & REFRIGERANT COSTS INCURRED IN REPLACING EVAPORATOR COILS
  • Original Purchaser of an In Class Evaporator Coil.
  • Had a Replacement of the Original Coil within five years of installation of the Original Coil.
  • Had Additional Replacement(s).
 You must have replaced your coil at least twice in order to receive any reimbursement for replacing coils. If you have not replaced your Original Coil or only had one replacement, you are not yet eligible to receive this benefit. Reimbursement is limited to up to $550 per eligible replacement.
